Before we officially take on 2017, we just want to thank you for being part of the Metro Basketball family in 2016.  For some of you, this is your first year with us while others (Chris Peerless) were with us in our inaugural season.  It’s been great to return home after a few years away and see the same spirit out on the courts as when we first started the league at Vancouver College.  Thank you for showing great sportsmanship to the scorekeepers, Oval staff, facility and the officials each and every Monday.  Let’s keep it up throughout the intense playoffs battles.

It was great to see guys get in a good run on Monday – Team Agaveros showed up with almost a full squad and looked ready to compete (and aggravate guys with their hustle defense).  Currently ranked 3rd in the league, they are gunning for the finals.  Clint Lomax will be sharing his playoff predictions this weekend, so stay tuned.

Fall season ends on January 30 and registration is now open for Spring 2017.  Early bird pricing and Nike gear for the captains who register prior to January 20, so get your squad locked up!
