Vancouver, B.C. - Get to know of the newest Team Captains of Metro League, Richie Zhang of Crazy Pigs.

Q1: What year did you first join The Vancouver Metro Basketball League™ and how many seasons have you been a part of to date?

A1: My first game in Metro League was October 2019. Our team only have been played for 1 season so far, but looking forward to play more season in the future.

Q2: Being a team captain, how did you put your team together?

A2: For my self, as a team captain, I pretty much communicate with my team every day, and share with them what’s happening.

Q3: What’s your relationship with teammates? How long have you known them / how did you meet them?

A3: We are brothers both on and off the court. When on the court, we support each other no matter what. When off the court, we always hang out together, such as party, trips, etc. We’ve been playing with each other for a while. We used to play an another league with different teams and always playing drop ins in the oval. So finally, we decided to play together.

Q4: How does The Vancouver Metro Basketball League™ and the game of basketball bring you and your team together?

A4: The Vancouver Metro Basketball League has so many great teams and great players. So we want to play with great basketball players, not only this can help us to improve our game, but also we can make more friends.

Q5: Of all the leagues in the city and in the lower mainland, why choose The Vancouver Metro Basketball League™ to bring your team together?

A5: As I said before, The Vancouver Metro Basketball League has so many great players and teams. It always felt great to compete with those great players. And the environment and the facilities are the important factors as well.
