It seemed to be court 5 on Monday night, the one with range! Another crazy performance from beyond the arc. South Slope Shooters with a total of 24 made 3s!! It was never a close game, but with some incredible offensive performances, it was for sure a fun game to watch for everyone at the Richmond Oval.

Afro Hair Studio: #00 35 points and 6 Rebounds
What a great battle for these two amazing teams. With a close win in OT, Stallions managed to survive what seemed impossible at the beginning of the night. Both teams with a really short roster, they fought until the end to give everyone on the Richmond Oval an electrifying game. #7 Drew from Stallions with another stellar performance with 36 points and 7 rebounds. Despite the loss, Thunder did a great job holding the fort without any sub for the whole game. #7 Brian with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
Another game in court 1 with a little bit of everything! Crazy end with JATT up by 5 with 2 minutes to go, couple of turnovers, couple of questionable refs calls, and with 30 seconds on the clock Senju took the lead by 2. Another great defensive possession and steal to end up by 4 and a big celebration for Senju who continues to be undefeated in this Metro League Season.
JATT: #19 with 19 points and 3 Assists
Senju: #8 Warren with 16 Points, 5 Reb and 2 Assists.
What a fun game we had on court 6! Fast paced, good ball movement and a lot of highlights! Church of buckets was able to take the win by 20 points, but it wasn’t easy! Wildcats fought hard until the last 10 minutes when they couldn’t keep up with the fast pace and speed of Church of Buckets. With some defensive adjustments and some open 3s in the second half, Church was able to increase the lead in the last minutes of the game to keep moving forward in this Spring Metro League.
Church: #23 with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Wildcats: #5 Bryce with 25 points and 10 rebounds
Court 7 had the highlights for the last game of the night! Awesome dimes, dunks, 3s and a lot of fun! Huskies competed hard and was able to get a solid win, with some outstanding performances from #9 and #6, Huskies were too much for Hasbulla’s Handles to deal with!
Huskies: #9 17 points and 10 Reb. #6 with 14 points and 9 reb.
Hasbulla’s Handles: #3 with 22 points
Another entertaining game for this week 6! With a game that was always within 10 points, Buddy Guys managed to take the win home with a couple of great performances. #1 with 16 points and 8 rebounds & #24 with 22 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists.
Malibu’s Most Wanted battled hard, and even with an incredible night from #22 with 28 points and 4 rebounds, they couldn’t end up winning on a clase one this time.
It was raining for TPP on court 5 of the Richmond Oval during Monday night, with a total of 15 3s, they were able to control the game from beginning to end. It was an uphill battle for All Canadians from the tip off, not able to find the flow on offense and struggling with TTP’s efficiency from beyond the arc. Despite the 35 point differential, it was a competitive game until the end and both teams worked hard until the last minute.
TTP: #7 Omid with 16 points and 10 rebounds
All Canadians: #14 Mark with 10 points and 7 rebounds
What started as an apparently accessible game for Wolves ended up being a tough battle during the last minutes of the game. With a really physical game, Wolves managed to secure the win in the final minutes with some key free throws. Important win for Wolves thinking about what's coming forward.
Wolves: #5 Chris with 13 points
Banana: #8 with 10 points and 8 reb
