Vancouver, B.C. - The 10th Year Anniversary Finals celebrated a decade of Metro League competition last night back at Vancouver College - our original home. For the FULL Photo Album from the FINALS visit our Facebook Page.




First Half:

Season X closed out with two great teams fighting for the Championship. The Stallions vs Night Hoops, who looking to finish the season with a perfect record. Right from the tip-off the Stallions started attacking the paint through Jit who scored the first 6 points for his team. Prince Carino added on the scoreboard with two 3’s for a quick six points. Night Hoops got it going with Zach and Gary attacking the paint and getting buckets from behind the 3-point line. Prince scored 21 in the first half as he got hot scoring from everywhere helping the stallions obtain a 48-37 lead at the half.

Second Half:

Zach started with a 5-0 run for Night Hoops, but Jit continued to answer at the other end fighting his way through the paint grabbing second chance rebounds and turning them into points for the Stallions. Gary Minhas also continued his strong play in the second half attacking the paint and getting to the freethrow line. Mark Halfknights would emerge in the second half as he got hot for the Stallions scoring at the freethrow line and from behind the arc. In the end, the Stallions would not relinquish their lead on their way to the Division I Championship.
